Alexis Chernak

Alexis’s practice is focused on community development and affordable housing finance. She has represented developers, investors and lenders involved with projects that utilize the syndication of new markets tax credits, low-income housing tax credits and historic tax credits.

Prior to joining the firm, she practiced commercial litigation involving corporate, contractual and financial restructuring issues. She also spent a year in the Mississippi Delta in partnership with Harvard Law School and Mississippi State University creating and managing community projects that promoted economic development and improved community health.
