ADMISSION TO PRACTICE:
Caryn joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2016. Her commercial real estate focus has provided her with significant experience in virtually all types of estate transactions: leasing, financing, affordable housing and community development, and real estate acquisition and development.
She focuses her practice on the structuring and negotiation of real estate projects that are eligible for affordable housing tax credits, and represents investors and syndicators in such transactions. She has counseled syndicators and equity investors in connection with direct, secondary and portfolio investments for the development, financing and investment in multifamily housing projects with multi-tiered debt and equity structures, and has significant experience with various federal, state and local loan and grant programs utilized for the rehabilitation or new construction of multi-family housing, including housing for families, the elderly, the homeless and individuals with special needs.
