Eric Mittereder

Eric joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2012.  His practice is focused on the tax structuring and negotiation of transactions that are eligible for federal low-income housing tax credits and new markets tax credits.  He also represents clients on transactions involving renewable energy tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and certain state tax credits.  Eric has represented developers, investors, syndicators, and community development entities in numerous real estate transactions, including affordable housing, offices, schools, health centers, and shelter and service facilities.  In addition, Eric regularly provides assistance and counsel to nonprofit organizations in connection with their formation, application for tax-exempt status, and participation in tax credit transactions.
