The Story Behind this Project
The Midtown Health Center and Administrative Headquarters, located at 3510 Biscayne Boulevard is being transformed from a 22,000 square foot two-story building into an innovative 55,000 square foot, seven-story state-of-the-art community health center. This renovation will bring all of Care Resource’s services under a single roof, and will double their service capacity, giving them the ability to serve over 21,400 patients annually within 3 years.
Care Resources new medical home will bring their fully integrated system of comprehensive care under one roof to address all of their patients’ needs. It will feature a new pediatrics unit in addition to medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare wings, and an array of comprehensive preventative and social services to address the holistic needs of children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, the renovated facility will integrate Care Resources Food for Life Network Food Pantry and Nutritional Center.
The new facility will transform how Care Resource delivers healthcare by creating a one-stop shop for health. Patients can come and receive all their clinical, social, and nutritional needs in a single visit, removing barriers to care by cutting costs and travel time.
