My Role

I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2021 as a Project Assistant for the New Markets Tax Credit practice group. My responsibilities include assisting in numerous administrative and organizational tasks along with critical data management.

My Background

Prior to joining the firm, I interned at various legal and nonprofit organizations. In the summer of 2020, I interned at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) as a legal intern in their Consumer Protection Branch. At the DOJ, I developed strong organizational skills to assist attorneys with their cases and analyzed thousands of financial transactions and data records to gather evidence of fraudulent activity. Additionally, in my first year of college, I had the opportunity to intern at All Chicago where I learned about the challenges that people experiencing homelessness face when attempting to find housing. The experience strengthened my passion to assist and empower vulnerable communities and guided my undergraduate experience. As an undergrad, I took on various roles to uplift and empower first-generation, low-income students on campus and helped them access the resources that they needed to effectively navigate college.

My Passion in Life

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and swimming.
