My Role

I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2018 and work with the developer team on primarily low-income housing tax credit transactions. My work involves reviewing due diligence documents, forming business entities, drafting and tracking documents up to and throughout closings, and producing post-closing transcripts.

My Background

Prior to joining the firm, I interned at Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation in New York City and the City of Central Falls Department of Planning and Economic Development in Rhode Island. My undergraduate thesis was on the 1969 public housing rent strike that took place in St. Louis, Missouri.

My Passion in Life

I enjoy singing and learning about history, and my favorite building in Chicago is the Harold Washington Library (where you can do both!).
