Warren P. Wenzloff

Warren is a founding member of Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen and concentrates his real estate practice in affordable housing development and finance. He has extensive experience representing developers, PHA’s, lenders and investors involved in the development of affordable multifamily housing and supportive living projects that utilize historic and low income housing tax credits, rental subsidies and multi-tiered private and governmental loan, tax-exempt bond and grant programs. He also works with skilled nursing facility owners and operators in conjunction with HUD 232 loan program and other financing associated with such facilities, as well as commercial real estate owners and developers on a variety of industrial, retail, warehouse and mixed use developments.

Warren has served on the board of county and local organizations whose purpose is to foster the preservation and development of affordable housing and community development in and around the Chicagoland area. He continues to participate as a panelist and moderator at seminars and continuing legal education programs sponsored by national and regional organizations engaged in the business of affordable housing.
