Since joining Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2026, I have focused my practice on representing for-profit and nonprofit residential real estate developers in complex affordable housing transactions, including financings and acquisitions. I work closely with clients to understand both their immediate transactional needs and broader business objectives, helping them navigate complicated matters with a practical, solutions-oriented approach. Career Overview

Before joining Applegate, I practiced mergers and acquisitions and corporate law at two international law firms, where I gained experience working on sophisticated business transactions. That background strengthened my ability to evaluate complex issues, identify potential risks, and understand the business considerations underlying a transaction. I draw on that experience in my affordable housing practice today, bringing a strong corporate foundation, careful attention to detail, and a practical business perspective to each matter.
