Commitment to Clients and Communities

While I truly enjoy the intellectual challenges inherent in tax law, the real reward for me is knowing that my efforts support important initiatives in affordable housing and community development. Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen provides the perfect environment for me to apply my skills in a way that makes a tangible difference in the community.

Career Overview

I specialize in the negotiation and tax structuring of transactions involving tax incentive financing and social impact investment opportunities. My practice covers low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, new markets tax credits, and energy tax credits. My prior legal experience in business tax law and as a transactional attorney enables me to bring a well-rounded perspective to each transaction.
