My Role
I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2025 as a member of the equity team, where I will be working with investor and syndicator clients on tax-incentivized transactions. My responsibility includes reviewing due diligence documents, analyzing title and survey, and facilitating closings.
My Background
My paralegal experience started back in 2016 working for a boutique firm in Naperville where we handled residential and commercial transactions. From there, I moved to a very large firm in Nashville and was a paralegal for the Real Estate Finance & Development Group handling large-scale commercial real estate deals. My most recent experience was with McDonald’s where I was a paralegal on the Restaurant Development Team and worked closely with our construction team to purchase/lease properties. In 2024, my team was able to open over 100 new stores that year alone. I am excited to broaden my real estate knowledge and learn more about the affordable housing realm with Applegate!
My Passion in Life
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband and two young daughters as they are my absolute world. When we’re not at home, we love going on lots of vacations and my goal in life is to visit each state at least once!
