My Role

I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2017 and am responsible for leading the firm’s information technology strategy and operations. In this capacity, I oversee the implementation, management, and usability of all IT systems, focusing on leveraging technology to support the firm’s goals. Specific responsibilities include ensuring the security and reliability of the firm’s information systems, overseeing the firm’s IT infrastructure, and collaborating with firm leadership to understand the firm’s needs and ensure IT solutions meet those needs.

My Background

Because I grew up in a family restaurant business, customer service is ingrained in me. I try to provide great service to everyone I support and this spirit of service has developed me into the person I am today.

I’ve been in the technology space for over 20 years and have managed numerous implementations and upgrades. Before coming to Applegate, I worked for Sidley Austin where I was responsible for creating the technology roadmap for the Finance, HR, Procurement, and Conflicts departments as well as providing strategic direction to large complex projects. I was also a co-founder of an online tutoring business serving elementary and high school students. Seeing academically struggling students improve their grades was a gratifying experience.

My Passion in Life

I love spending time with my wonderful wife and our six joy-filled children. I’m always working on some hands-on projects at home or enjoying the outdoors.
