The most satisfying part of working at Applegate is assisting clients who are passionate and motivated to improve communities nationwide, including providing reliable, affordable housing. Moving regularly in childhood as a military family instilled an early awareness of the importance of assured housing, and I greatly value the opportunity to help provide housing to others.
Career Overview
Current Focus: My practice is focused on assisting those who are seeking to develop and redevelop public housing and community development projects nationwide. I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2025 and, since then, I have worked with clients seeking to finance affordable housing and community development projects through the use of tax credits and bonds. Prior to joining the firm, I worked as an attorney for a small law firm which handled commercial mergers and acquisitions and specializing in health care entities and businesses. In my practice I have empowered clients seeking to finance billions of dollars in housing-related and other assets across the country.
